As a final lead up to the film before the release of a full trailer, poster, merchandise and film we decided to make a short teaser trailer that was very similar to that of the film poster.
The teaser trailer itself was based on the trailer that was released on the lead up to the opening of the ride Thirteen at Alton Towers where at the end of trailer a girl whispers the word "13" after a scary opening where we see clips of the ride and some thorns.
Ride Thirteen teaser trailer:
We wanted to use this idea as a way of creating a teaser trailer for our advert as the whole of our film revolves around the number 112. We used the poster of the door to flash up on the screen alongside static of a TV struggling to turn on which is quite a common aspect that occurs in horror films. We also had a whispered voice that said the number 112 to create the same effect that the whispered number 13 had in the Alton Towers teaser.
